With this galvanized steel storm chain on your exterior door you can prevent doors weighing up to 60 kg from slamming open in gusts of wind. This prevents damage to doors, windows and frames. This chain is very suitable for use on rear doors and shed doors, but can in principle be used on any exterior door that opens outwards. This cable is approximately 50 cm long and is protected by a plastic hose, so that the chain itself cannot damage the door or frame. The maximum opening is determined depending on the position in which you place the storm chain. The 14 cm spring ensures that the blow of an opening door is gradually absorbed and that no dislocation of the hinges, for example, occurs. Installing a storm chain is very easy and can be done within an hour. Use four screws to attach one side to the inside of the door and the other side to the frame. This makes it a simple, cheap and efficient solution to protect windows and doors.
