Description

A clamping sleeve is used for quick installation of side laths, battens or other woodwork against walls made of concrete or solid masonry. For a 6.0mm collet you drill a drill hole of 6.0mm and for an 8.0mm collet of course a drill hole of 8.0mm. You can then hammer the collet into the drill hole in both the attachment (wood) and the wall (pull-through installation) by means of a hammer. When hammering in, the clamping sleeve stretches against the drill hole wall over the entire installation depth and the wooden slat or rail is fixed. The collar ensures that the bar stays firmly in place. Clamping sleeves are only intended for light fastenings.
