Description:

Wood carving knife set in leather roller bag, 3 pieces. All knives have a hornbeam handle and are made of special carbon steel. They have a hardness of 59 - 61 HRc and are supplied pre-ground. Before first use, they must be sharpened with a whetstone to obtain their final sharpness. Kirschen tools are made of carbon steel and not stainless material. This means that the tools are naturally subject to corrosion. Corrosion can occur with these tools due to hand perspiration or fluctuations in humidity. We therefore recommend that all our customers clean the tool after use or during storage with a cloth lightly soaked in oil. This light oil film can prevent corrosion.
