A bevel square hook is a piece of hand tool that is mainly used by carpenters to "measure" and transfer different degrees of all possible angles. It consists of two separate parts that are fastened together with a screw and that can move relative to each other. By tightening the screw, the angle is fixed so that it can then be marked. In this way it is possible to determine accurately, without measuring, at what angle, for example, a miter should be sawn. This reduces the chance of errors.
